The words themselves did not change; rather, society’s exhaustion and distrust settled onto their surfaces. In the end, language resembles a log of collective psychology more than a dictionary.

Of course, no single word determines meaning on its own. Context and surrounding flow still matter. But modern language no longer stops there. Historical events, political backgrounds, and the memories of internet communities become layered onto words, causing certain expressions to function like encrypted codes understood only by specific groups. On the surface, they may appear ordinary, yet insiders read entirely different meanings from them. These encrypted forms of language usually begin within closed communities. But algorithms and meme culture rarely allow those boundaries to remain intact for long. Certain expressions leak out through short-form videos, social media, YouTube comments, and broadcasts, eventually spreading into mainstream language. Then one day, once the hidden context is decoded, social fatigue and conflict erupt. Yet reality is never that simple. Some believe public opinion can be engineered, but the actual ecosystem of language moves through countless unpredictable variables. Deliberately crafted expressions can suddenly become objects of ridicule. Codes created for internal solidarity may be mocked once exposed to outsiders. Certain frames collapse under the weight of their own overuse. Language can be designed, but it can never be completely controlled.

Some use words as weapons. Others try to decode them. And many consume them like trends without understanding their meanings at all.
