그날은 할로윈 데이였다.
서울의 한복판, 빌딩 사이로 번쩍이는 네온 아래서 KPOP 여전사 팀 블랙스파크는 공연을 마친 뒤, 비밀스럽게 초대받은 “던전 파티”로 향하고 있었다.
이벤트 이름은 Pepero Dungeon — 빼빼로 데이와 할로윈을 결합한 이상한 콘셉트였다. 초대장은 오직 상위 1% 인플루언서에게만 발송되었다고 했다.

입구는 지하 클럽의 문처럼 어둡고 좁았다.
안으로 들어가자 형형색색의 조명이 춤추며, 거대한 초콜릿 향이 코를 찔렀다.
“이건 그냥 콘셉트 파티지 뭐.” 리더 지아가 말하며 웃었지만, 다른 멤버들은 묘한 긴장감을 느꼈다.
테이블 위에는 이름 모를 브랜드의 빼빼로가 산처럼 쌓여 있었고, 그 옆엔 ‘한 개를 먹으면 진실이 보인다’라는 문구가 붙어 있었다.

지아가 장난스럽게 하나를 집어 입에 물었다.
순간 조명 전체가 깜박이며 공간이 뒤틀렸다.
음악이 멎고, 관객이 사라지고, 무대 아래로 거대한 구멍이 열렸다.
멤버들은 비명을 지르며 추락했고, 눈을 떠보니 거대한 미로 속이었다.
벽은 초콜릿으로 만들어져 있었고, 바닥은 녹아내리는 설탕처럼 끈적거렸다.

그 말과 함께 괴기스러운 마스크를 쓴 무용수들이 나타나 춤을 추며 다가왔다.
멤버들은 무의식적으로 포메이션을 맞추고 안무를 시작했다.
빛이 번쩍일 때마다 괴물들이 하나씩 사라졌고, 노래가 절정에 이르자 던전의 문이 열렸다.

밖으로 나오자, 무대 조명이 다시 켜졌다.

하지만 리허설엔 없던 장면이 있었다.
마지막 장면에서 빛을 비추던 거대한 거울에, 자신들의 뒤편에 낯선 인물 하나가 비쳤다.
검은 가면을 쓴 또 다른 ‘지아’가 미소 지으며 속삭였다.

It was Halloween night.
In the heart of Seoul, under the flashing neon lights between skyscrapers, the KPOP warrior group BlackSpark had just finished their concert. They were heading to a secret after-party known only by invitation.
The name of the event: Pepero Dungeon — a bizarre fusion of Pepero Day and Halloween. Only the top 1% of influencers were said to have received the golden ticket.

The entrance looked like a dark underground club door.
Inside, lights pulsed wildly, and the air was thick with the scent of chocolate.
“It’s just another themed party,” said Jia, the leader, laughing. But the others felt uneasy.
On the table stood mountains of unfamiliar Pepero sticks, beside a sign that read, “Eat one, and you’ll see the truth.”

Jia grinned, took one, and bit down.
Instantly, the lights flickered, and the space twisted around them.
The music stopped. The audience vanished. A massive hole opened beneath the stage.
They screamed as they fell, and when they opened their eyes, they were inside a vast maze.
The walls were made of chocolate, and the ground was sticky like melted sugar.

Then a voice echoed through hidden speakers:
“KPOP warriors of Halloween, show us the true essence of your rhythm.”
Masked dancers emerged from the shadows, moving with eerie precision.
Without thinking, the members fell into formation, performing their choreography in perfect sync.
Each burst of light erased a monster, and when the song reached its climax, the dungeon doors swung open.

They stumbled out—onto the stage again.
The lights, the screams, the crowd—it was all there.
Everything they had just experienced was part of the Pepero Dungeon Show, an elaborate mix of projection, hologram, and scent effects.
An immersive illusion that blurred the line between performance and reality.

But there was one thing they hadn’t rehearsed.
In the final scene, as the spotlight hit the massive mirror backdrop, another reflection appeared—
a second Jia, wearing a black mask, smiling faintly.
“This one was perfect,” she whispered. “Next time, it won’t be you.”

The staff rushed in to pack the equipment, but the real Jia was nowhere to be found.
The members stared at each other, pale and speechless.
Only the soft sound of a single Pepero stick falling to the floor echoed in the silence.
Then, from the speakers, that same voice returned:

“November 11th. Season 2 — Valentine of Shadows.”
