If your goal is to make money, sell kindness, abundance, and stories.
If your goal is growth, give discomfort, scarcity, and trials.

Most people want immediate satisfaction. They look for lectures, summaries, cheat keys, and shortcuts that are easy to understand, instantly applicable, and give them the feeling of “Now I know enough.” This structure delivers quick comfort and a sense of achievement, but at the same time, it quietly stops real thinking. Like those who choose the blue pill in The Matrix, once people select a comfortable reality over an uncomfortable truth, growth begins to stall. Phrases such as “I tried in my own way” or “I know enough now” sound like declarations of arrival, but in truth they are closer to declarations of stopping. Satisfaction feels like reaching a goal, yet it silently erases the reason to go further.

What I want to leave behind instead is sustainable, joyful challenge. Rather than giving answers, I leave doors. Rather than pouring out explanations, I leave hints. Rather than pulling people forward, I wait. The very existence of a door to cross creates the next curiosity, and failure becomes not elimination but an experience that widens perspective. This is how Socrates guided people in the agora of ancient Greece, and how Zen masters awakened disciples through koans. They did not simply teach; they left conditions for awakening, and only those who crossed the threshold moved on.

The more comfortable people become, the fewer real choices they have. When roads are fully paved and answers are given, the need to judge and to take responsibility disappears. But when scarcity, trials, and failure remain, thinking is reorganized and standards are rebuilt. Just as many Silicon Valley founders return stronger after failed startups—armed with clearer judgment and deeper networks—failure is not merely a setback, but a mechanism that redesigns one’s inner structure. Challenge, therefore, is not suffering, but the seed of long-lasting enjoyment.

I do not teach people or sell lectures. I leave hints and wait. Only those who act open the next door, and if there is silence or no response, I do not invest time. This is not coldness, but a respect-based autonomous growth structure. By not doing things for others, I leave them their choices. By not carrying their responsibility, I make them use their own strength. This structure does not bind people as customers, but forms them into new independent agents of judgment.

In the end, the paths divide. Some remain in immediate satisfaction, others enter sustainable joyful challenge. The former rest quickly; the latter change slowly. And I leave doors only on the latter path—not the power to make people comfortable, but doors that allow people to expand themselves.
